Teacher Bio

My name is Alexis Gillespie, and I’m excited to begin my first full year of teaching. I completed my student teaching in Fall 2024 with Rhonda Morgan at Turner High School, where I gained valuable hands-on experience in the classroom. In Spring 2025, I had the opportunity to teach at Danbury High School, further solidifying my passion for education.

I am a proud first-generation college graduate from Sam Houston State University, and I am committed to creating a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment for all students. I look forward to a great school year ahead!
