Thematic statement on Macbeth

Guilt is a thematic idea. Consider what happens to Lady Macbeth as she dwells on the murder of Duncan. What does the experience given to her by Shakespeare show about guilt? 

She loses sleep in worry and negative memories. She eventually loses her life. A thematic statement would put guilt together with Shakespeare's tone. 

Guilt is a dangerous emotion which can destroy a person.

In the play, "Macbeth," Shakespeare shows that the feelings of guilt are dangerous and can destroy the one who is guilty if these feelings aren't appropriately handled. 

Consider Shakespeare's attitude about ambition, and write a thematic statement for ambition as it is shown in the play, "Macbeth."
