November 17: Act I- II; Macbeth

 

Learning goals:

  • 12.7.B Poetry/ analyze the effects of sound, form, figurative language, graphics, and dramatic structure in poetry across a variety of poetic forms

Warm-up: 

Open and sign into One drive, Open Canvas and today's agenda page. Remove all distractions, lower your screen, take out your choice book, and let's read!!! 

Agenda: 

  1. Read for 15 minutes, review goals 
  2. Discussion/notes on Shakespeare's time. 
  3. Watch Act I of Macbeth and add to character chart. 
  4. Read Roles in Act II, continuing with chart. Reader's theatre rubric
