All About Me

I am so excited to be teaching at Challenger Elementary!  I love teaching Kindergarten and feel so lucky to have such an awesome job! I have been living in Pearland for over twenty years and enjoy seeing my students around this great community.  My husband and I have four children.  My two daughters and twin sons keep me very busy when I am not at Challenger.  All of them are currently attending college.  I spend most of my free time with my family, watching an Astros game, gardening, or reading a good book. 

I became a teacher because I love to learn!  I attended the University of Houston and have been teaching for twenty years. My goal is to make sure every student feels safe and welcomed in our class!  It’s going to be a wonderful school year!
