All About Me

Welcome to First Grade! My name is Kristy Keathley and I am SO excited to begin a new school year with you! I am the seventh child out of seven from a large, loud, Texas family. I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin; and yes, I DO love burnt orange! This is my 27th year of teaching and I love teaching 1st graders! I am the proud mom of two energetic, fun-loving young adults, Shelby and Trace. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, watching my beloved Longhorns and Dallas Cowboys and, of course, shopping!!! My purpose each day is to make sure that all of my students feel safe, valued, and successful in our classroom. Here is to a great year ahead! :)
