Art is a time for us to learn about art and have fun making art.

I have been a teacher for 29 years. Can you believe that??? I have experience in the general classroom teaching 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade. My true love is teaching art which I've taught for 15 years in Pearland.

I enjoy the satisfaction and pleasure students feel when they are successful at expressing themselves through visual art. I love giving the experience of exploring using different medium such as watercolor, oil pastels, clay, fibers and cardboard.

I believe children are natural artists.  Art/drawing (yes, scribbles too) is their earliest visual expression of communication. It is not so important that we understand the art as it is to appreciate it and the effort of the child.
