All About Me

My name is Karly Lucht. I was born in Brooklyn, NY, but I was raised in the great state of Texas from the age of two. I grew up in the Pearland area, where I met my now-husband back in 4th Grade! Pearland holds a special place in my heart—from the community and all it provides, to the lifelong relationships I've built with friends and colleagues. I graduated from Pearland High School and attended college at The University of Houston, earning my Bachelor of Science Degree in Teaching and Learning. Go Coogs! I am a certified ESL (English as a Second Language Supplemental), Special Education (EC-12), and Dyslexia teacher. My husband and I have a daughter, Eleanor, and a son, Henry. They are our world! 

This marks my 9th year as an Inclusion/Resource and Dyslexia Teacher at Magnolia Elementary. I am dedicated to making learning exciting and attainable for my students, aiming to boost their self-confidence. I feel privileged to continue my career with Pearland ISD at Magnolia Elementary, and I eagerly anticipate an excellent year ahead!
