Peek of the Week

Good afternoon families! Here is our Peek of the Week.

Learning this week-

Reading- Make Inferences and text evidence
Writing- Writer's Workshop
Grammar- Capitalization and Punctuation
Math- Place value- comparing and ordering numbers on an open number line
Science- Scientific Method
Social Studies- Citizenship

Reminders-

School starts promptly at 7:55 am. Students should be walking through the door at this time. Being on time is important as it allows for instructional time to be maximized. Every minute counts. If your student will be arriving late, please message me. I know some days can be more hectic than others.

Headphones daily as we will be working on our laptops in the classroom.

Dried snacks daily along with a bottled water.

If transportation will be changing throughout the year, please let me know ahead of time. I will not release students to any other form of transportation if note is not sent or I am not informed through Class Dojo.

M.A.C folder sent home daily and returned to school daily.

Spelling Tests will be adminstered every Friday. Students will write words Monday during our phonics block. Students will practice these words at home and be tested on Fridays.
