My name is Alexx Malone and I am so excited to be your Kindergarten teacher this year! This will be my 16th year teaching Kindergarten at Silverlake Elementary. I graduated from University of Houston – Clear Lake in 2009. Before coming to Silverlake, I student taught at C. J. Harris Elementary and I was an intervention tutor at Carleston Elementary. I married my best friend and look forward to celebrating our 12th wedding anniversary during this school year. Our sweet boy, Logan, is also a Silverlake star! We have two adorable kitties named Weasley and Ginny (big Harry Potter fans!). I am very close to my family, especially my two younger sisters. My favorite things to do are read and relax, do puzzles, drink coffee, watch movies, and make things for our classroom. Purple and blue are my favorite colors, and my favorite animals are llamas and cats!
