My name is Lindsay Rodriguez and I am thrilled to be your child's teacher this year! This is my ninth year as a teacher at Silverlake, and my 16th year as a public school teacher. I grew up in Plano, Texas and received my degree in education at Texas A&M University. My husband, Cesar, is a mechanical engineer for a local chemical company. We have been married for 22 years and have lived in Silverlake for 21 years.  We have 2 beautiful daughters. Olivia is a sophomore at Texas State University in San Marcos and is majoring in Communications.  Julia is a sophomore at Dawson High School and is on the drill team. We have 3 cats, Pepper, Tommy, and T.J..  My hobbies include reading, traveling, and attending Dawson sports and theater events.  I look forward to a fabulous year!
