Teacher Bio
Hi! I'm excited to begin my 22nd year teaching junior high mathematics and 7th year teaching PAP Algebra 1! This will also be my 21st year in the district, my 18th year at BMJH (as an original staff member), 5th year as the Math Department Leader for our campus, and my 4th year as the Math and Science Club sponsor. I love my family, my students, and all things Disney! :)
I update Canvas regularly, and I communicate frequently through Canvas messenger (to the students) and Skyward email (parent/guardian). Whether I teach in person or online, I'm confident my classroom will be a space where students will flourish.
I will update the rest of the information below as soon as I get updates from administration (bell schedule, master schedule, etc.).

Tutoring
- Times: TBD
- Corrections MUST be done IN TUTORIALS and NOT AT HOME! This is a campus policy. When students are in tutorials for CORRECTIONS, they MUST:
- Get the TEACHER signature DURING tutorials.
- Come back (if needed to finish) and get the signature again.
- If students do NOT get the teacher signature and/or attend tutorials for corrections, the grade for the assignment will stay the same.
- If I'm not available on a day they need, they can attend the tutorials of any other math teacher.
Supplies Needed Daily
- District Laptop - This will be used sparingly for both content areas. Guidance regarding HB1481 and how it relates to device usage is coming out soon. Once I have that information, I will link it in this section.
- Wired Earbuds (campus policy)
- PAP Algebra 1 - composition notebook (Interactive Student Notebook), Folder with Pockets
- Intro to Algebra - 1.5 inch binder, set of dividers (5 tabs)
- Pencil(s) (mechanical is preferred although not required)
- Red or Other colored Pen
