Teacher Bio
My name is Jamie Swofford. I have 2 daughters, 11 (at Rogers MS) and 15 (at Dawson HS) and 3 cats, Tony, Liam & Millie. This is my 4th year teaching at Berry Miller. I was born and raised in Corpus Christi, TX, went to school in San Antonio (The University of Texas at San Antonio) and moved to Houston in 2004.
Prior to teaching, I worked for 14 years with international students, from around the world, to help them get into universities and training programs in the US. I earned my bachelor's degree from UTSA in Marketing.
I enjoy spending time with my family, crafting, going to the beach and going to Astros games. I look forward to a great year!
