My name is Mrs. Crystal Jones.  This is my 18th year of teaching, and I absolutely love working here at Pearland Junior High South!  Teaching English Language Arts is my passion. I love to see the students' academic growth throughout the year.

Tutoring

• Tutoring appointments must be made 24 hours in advance. 
• Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 8:00-8:25am.
• Thursdays after school from 3:58 - 4:30 pm
• If the times above do not work for you, please send an email to me.  I will try to accommodate your schedule whenever possible.

Clubs & Activities

• Chess Club from 4:00 - 5:00 pm on Wednesdays.
• Chess Club Participants:
  • must not have any detentions or days in ISS.
  • must be passing all classes
  • must be courteous and respectful to themselves and others.
• This is a fun introduction to Chess. 
• This is a student led club; they teach one another and compete against each other.  
• I currently have about 10 Chess sets and 3 timers.
