Mrs. Jenkins

 

My name is Mrs. Jenkins, and this is my 9th year teaching at Dawson High School. I teach Photojournalism, Yearbook, and Drill Team Training, and I also lead the UIL Journalism team and serve as the Dawson Diamonds Assistant Director. My goal is to help students develop the skills necessary for life (communication, analyzing information, and problem-solving) while providing them with an environment where they feel safe.

 

Just a little bit about me:

I am originally from La Grange, TX. I enjoy spending my free time catching the sunset on a walk with my family and our two pups. My husband and I married in 2019 and were college sweethearts at Texas State. Our son, Elijah, turned two recently, and we are currently expecting our second son in January 2026!😊
