I am Wendy Marici and this is my thirteenth year teaching biology and my fourth year at Dawson. Biology is my absolute favorite subject! I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin. Hook 'em!
I am married and have three awesome kids who attend PISD. I have two
sons (15 and 12) and one crazy daughter (9). Outside of school I’m usually shuttling my kids to their activities, cheering them on, or just enjoying time as a family. We love to spend our weekends at the lake, swimming, playing sports or hanging out with friends. In my classroom, I encourage all students to be ready to engage in the lesson. Learning is a lot more fun when it’s interactive. I know science isn’t everyone’s favorite subject, but I will make it as fun and as interactive as possible.
