All About Me

 

 

Hello, and welcome to my class! 

My name is Rachel Sonnier, and this will be my 12th year teaching 3rd grade. I taught in Pearland for 4 years (at Massey Ranch Elementary), then in Alvin ISD for 6 years, and now I'm back in Pearland at Shadycrest for the second year. I have two teenaged children, Zoe who graduated class of 2023, and Ethan who will be a senior at Pearland High School. We also have a puggle named Winston, and a velociraptor (terrier mix puppy) named Franklin.

When I'm not at school, I enjoy watching documentaries and on other things on Netflix as well as the Science and History channels at home, spending time with my family and friends, and decorating. I recently started teaching makeup classes and designing floral arrangements, which been fun. My favorite snacks are fruit and baked chips. I like Twix, Twizzlers, and gummy candy, and my favorite drinks are Coke Zero or flavored sparkling waters.
