On a page in your sketchbook, using your charcoal supplies, an eraser, and a paper blender or paper towel, recreate the 3 techniques highlighted on slide 7. Then divide your page into 9 spaces and recreate the textures on slide 8 and you can also try some from the page LINKED HERE. If you have time, turn your sketchbook page over and attempt/ play with other strokes, lines, and techniques from slides 6 & 7. 

Take a picture and file upload to this assignment - to prevent smearing, spray your page(s) with hair spray. It will fix (seal down) your charcoal to the page.
