Teacher NameBio: My name is Abigail Russell Smith and I am so excited to begin at Dawson this year. I have taught high school English and Creative Writing in Texas for eleven years and look forward to kicking off a great school year. I'm a wife and mom of 4 children; my oldest is a teacher (my mom was too!), my son is a train conductor, and my two youngest are a senior and a freshman here at DHS. I look forward to getting to know you! Degrees and Certifications: I attended Sam Houston State University, where I earned a B.A. in English with a minor in psychology.
