Counselor Classroom Lessons 2024-25 Stand Strong-Stay Safe: Safety Education |
I am very excited to welcome our returning students back and to meet our new incoming students. This 2024-25 school year's theme is "We are LAWHON!". This year's counselor lessons will be a mixture of lessons from the "Character Strong" curriculum and from the Child Builders "Stay Strong - Stay Safe" anti-vicimization elementary curriculum. Please see my schedule of Character Education Counselor Lessons to see all of the topics that will be covered. In addition, the students will hear a character building message every day during the morning announcements and extra lessons will be provided on topics as needed. I provide individual counseling as well as topical small group counseling to those students who may need some extra support to succeed in the school setting. I also support our PBIS behavior program through weekly structured Social Skills lessons.
