Teacher Bio

Hello Tiger Family!! I am so excited to be joining Alexander Middle School this year! My name is Toni Slavik-Trusty and I grew up next door in Friendswood, Texas. This will be my 23rd year of teaching. I started in elementary teaching everything from 1st to 4th grade with 3rd being my specialty. This is my first year in Pearland ISD and will be my first official year in middle school. Reading is my passion and I love passing that along to my students!!

I have a beautifully blended family with 5 kids ranging in age from 17-24.

I love the beach, the mountains, and Cleveland Browns Football!!!

Degrees and Certifications

I received my Bachelors of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with a minor in history from the University of Houston Clear Lake.

I have also received my Masters of Art in Educational Administration from University of Houston Clear Lake.
