Teacher Bio 

Welcome to 8th grade United States History! My name is Mr. Galant and I am excited to work with and get to know each of you this school year.

I am originally from New York and have just moved to the Pearland area this summer from Orlando, Florida. I graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with a degree in Social Science Education and spent some time teaching 10th grade English. Aside from my passion for Social Studies I am a bit of a sports and Star Wars fan. 

As the school year begins I will be sure to update this page with our tutoring days and times. If there are any questions or there is anything I could do to further assist please do not hesitate to contact me!

• folder or binder (to save class handouts)
• a pack of lined paper
