Teacher Bio

Hello I am Coach Strickland. This will be my 6th year in education. I am certified in special education and mathematics. I will be teaching 7th grade resource math and inclusion along with coaching 7th grade football and track. Prior to teaching and coaching at Jr. High South I worked in Danbury ISD and Pasadena ISD as a teacher/coach. I grew up in Pearland and attended Jr. High South the very first year it opened in 2002! I graduated from Texas A&M in 2011 on a Air Force ROTC scholarship and served on active duty until 2015. I am currently attending graduate school at the University of Houston-Victoria for M.Ed in Special Education. I have been married to my wife for 10 years and we have 3 boys that are 9, 8, and 6 and all attend Pearland ISD.
