Teacher Bio
Hey Ya’ll! My name is Carrie Heard, and I am so excited and looking forward to teaching your Jaguar this 2024-2025 school year! This is my 4th year teaching at Sam Jamison, and I consider it both a great privilege and responsibility to be your child’s ELA/Social Studies teacher. I’m also looking forward to working with you, my parents, to make this an AMAZING school year for our 5th grade Jags!
A Little About Me
I was born and raised in “The Sunshine State” (Florida). I received my education from Miami-Dade County Public Schools and went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Logistics & Procurement. I am the mom of two wonderfully made kids- Carmelo (11) & Malia (2). My family and I relocated to Pearland, Texas in 2020 and we are so blessed to call it home.
