Teacher Bio

I am the ESL teacher at Sam Jamison Middle School for both grades 5 and 6. I have enjoyed teaching for many years. I love travelling and I have lived and taught in four different states. I have always enjoyed reading and learning. I have had the opportunity to meet and teach many diverse students from all over the world. I helped them to improve their English language skills as well as their overall confidence. I had the honor of being named Pearland ESL District Teacher of the Year in 2018. Then in 2019, I was Sam Jamison's Teacher of the Year. In 2020, I was a finalist for a Lifetime Achievement Award in the state of Texas. I won $1,000 for our school. We purchased iPads for my ESL students with my prize money. I am very blessed to have received honors by doing what I love best, teaching at Sam Jamison Middle School.

I have three grown daughters, two stepsons and three grandchildren:) I spend all of my vacation time visiting with them!
