Teacher Bio

Hello and welcome to 6th grade ELAR, my name is Mrs. Joseph. I have been at Sablatura for 10 years and 20 years in HISD. This makes my 31st year in education! I graduated from Jarvis Christian College, and received my M.ED from University of Houston- Clear Lake. I am also a proud member of The Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated, and of course my favorite colors are PINK AND GREEN! I didn't pick education, it picked me. I love what I do and my motto is NO EXCUSES! Here at Sablatura, we have built in tutoring for our students during the school day and I also provide tutoring on Fridays from 8:00-8:25. I love to inspire and motivate students to always do their best and GO FOR THE GOLD! Here at Sablatura we are OLYMPIANS!
