Teacher Bio

Hello! My name is Courtney Steele and I am so excited for the 2024-2025 school year. This is my second year at Pearland High School.

I grew up as a military brat, so I moved around a lot as a kid. I moved to Texas at 15 years old and I graduated from Steele High School in Cibolo, Tx, located north of San Antonio. I went to Texas A&M, where I studied International Studies and French and was a member of the Fightin' Texas Aggie Band. I started my career in education as a Peace Corps Education Volunteer in South Africa from 2017-2019. There I taught English(First Additional Language) classes to 5-7th graders.
