Teacher Bio

Hello Pearland Students and Parents,

I’m Mr. Baxter, and I’m thrilled to kick off my fourth year here at Pearland High School! After eight years in the corporate financial world, I found myself yearning for something more fulfilling. That’s when I decided to switch gears and become a teacher—so I could share my passion for business with amazing students like you. Teaching has been a dream come true for me, and I feel incredibly lucky to work with such bright and motivated young people.

When I'm not in the classroom, I love spending time with my wonderful wife, Erica, and our two daughters, Addison and Aubrey. We enjoy outdoor adventures, playing strategy games, and catching up on our favorite TV shows. These moments with my family keep me inspired and energized.

To my students: I truly believe that what you get out of my classes depends on what you put in. If you come ready to engage, ask questions, and dive into the material, you’ll gain knowledge and skills that will serve you for years to come. Let’s make this a fun and rewarding experience together!
