Welcome! My name is Heather McMinn and I am excited about the 2023-2024 school year. This will be my sixteenth year of teaching and my twelfth year here at Pearland High School.  I previously taught in the Magnolia Independent School District, which is where I began my teaching career. I attended The University of North Texas, where I graduated Cum Laude earning a Bachelor of Science degree. I am currently certified to teach various subjects in grades Pre-K through 12th with an additional certification in Special Education and ESL.

I am originally from the Dallas area, where most of my family still lives, but I now call Pearland home.  I absolutely LOVE teaching at Pearland High School and my teaching philosophy is simple, reach the kids first, then you'll be able to teach. I have an open door policy for all of my students and will do my very best to help them achieve their goals and be successful in my classroom.

Please feel free to email me at anytime if you have any questions or concerns regarding your student and their academic progress.
