Teacher Bio
I am a PHS graduate and I love being an Oiler! I have an amazing husband and children who all graduated from Pearland High School. I'm also a passionate animal lover and mom to many furbabies. I am currently beginning my 12th year teaching in Pearland ISD and my 7th year at Pearland High School. This will be my 14th year teaching public school. I was PACE Teacher of the Year in 2016, Secondary Teacher of the Year for PISD in 2016, and Pearland High School Teacher of the Year for 2019-2020. I am happy to be teaching AP U.S. History and African American Studies this year.
I want each student to be challenged but have every opportunity for success. I believe all students CAN be successful in advanced classes, and I will do everything possible to help them along the way. I am the Social Studies Department Chair and can generally read emails during 1st period unless I have a meeting. I will do my best to respond to your emails within 24 hours.
I am excited to meet each of you and I look forward to an amazing year!
