Hi! My name is Garrett Dyer and I have been teaching at Pearland High School since 2018.  I currently teach AP Physics, and I am excited about teaching students higher level thinking skills and preparing them for their future college and career plans.

This is my 18th year of teaching, and I have taught mostly in central and northern Texas before moving here to Houston in 2018.  I enjoy being a father of two wonderful children who attend college at Texas State University and Baylor University.  When I have the time, I also enjoy working on cars, DIY projects, watching shows, and playing video games.  Also, I enjoy drinking cold brew coffee (black) and reading about science, education, and major happenings.

There really is no time like the present, and I am blessed to have every moment that I have.  My main drive as an educator is continuously improving on what I have done in the past so that my current students are always getting the best moments of my teaching career and expertise.
