About Me:

¡Hola! Me llamo Señora Cortez. Soy tu profesora de Español.

Whether it's your first year of Spanish with me in Spanish 1 or you've made it to Spanish 5, I'll be your teacher this year 😊.  

I've been teaching Spanish since 1999.  Yes, I know, that was the last millennium, but I still love my job!  I grew up speaking Spanish at home since my mom was from Mexico, my dad from Brazil and my grandparents were from Spain.  

When I'm not at school you can find me at home with my two kids and our pets.  We enjoy cooking, gardening and traveling.   I'm looking forward to working with you this year.
