1.Pick which page of the book you will recreate.
2. Write 5 sentences with conjunctions you will include in  your Artpiece.
Conjunctions include:
porque - because
y - and 
mientras - while 
pero - but
o - or 
cuando - when 
entonces - so
**English to Spanish tip: begin with your English sentence and you may ask Ms. Medina for help with translating or use internet services.
Grading Rubric:
Writing Component: Five sentences about your art piece: may be from the scene in book, your thoughts on it, or connections to the scene. 1 daily grade: 100 points possible
Art piece 2 major grades: 200 points possible (points broken down below)
100 points: art is well thought out, effort is taken into coloring, and design*
100 points: your 5 sentences from planning are included somewhere on your art piece, you may choose how to incorporate them, but they must be on the front with the art.
*Ms. Medina understands not everyone is a detailed artist, I will use daily check ins to see you are working diligently, taking care and pride in your work, making progress, and being organized and using your time wisely.
