Teacher Bio
Hello and welcome to my class! I'm Coach McKay and this is my 5th year of teaching and my 2nd year at PHS. The first three years of my career were spent at Galena Park High School where I taught AP Human Geography and coached softball. This year I am teaching Government, Economics and I also coach baseball.
For a little bit of background about me, I grew up in Pearland and am a Pearland High School graduate and during my time at PHS, I played baseball. After graduating from PHS I attended the University of Houston (WHOSE HOUSE?!) where I graduated in 2020 with my bachelors degree. In my free time I enjoy playing sports, thrifting and reselling, going to Astros games, hanging out with friends and family and playing the occasional video game.
