Advanced Reading/Language Arts

Teacher Bio

Hello! My name is Mrs. Khoja and I am your Advanced Reading/Language Arts this year. This is my first year at Rogers Middle School and my 12th year teaching RLA. I live here in Pearland with my husband, 3 kids, and 2 dogs. I'm excited to get to know your families this year. During the school year, I make sure all of your children know that I will be their biggest advocate. If something is wrong or bothering them, my door is always open.

Everyday, students will need to bring their Language Arts/Reading notebook (this is 2 composition notebooks glued together), a book, and their daily supplies (scissors, pencils, colors, etc.) to my class. I hold my students to very high standards that they are expected to meet. This includes turning in all their work, giving their best effort each day, and following expectations. I firmly believe that the overall growth is the most important aspect in a child's education.

Morning tutoring: Monday and Wednesday from 8:00-8:30
Afternoon tutoring: Monday from 4:00-4:30 by appointment with 24 hour notice
