Hello! Welcome to 5th grade for the 2024-2025 school year! I am Mrs. Dorflinger, your Language Arts teacher.

A little bit more about me: 

  • This is my 21st year as a teacher, and I'm still going strong.
  • I am a lifelong Girl Scout, and I pull a lot of learning from my experiences there.
  • I graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2004 with a double major in English and history with a minor in education
  • My master's degree is Information and Library Science from UHCL.
  • I also have a daughter who is in her 1st year as a special education teacher!
